The Resolution is an updated version of the Resolution on the Measurement of Employment Related Income adopted at the 16th ICCT (1998) due to the need to harmonize the text of the Resolution with the standards adopted by the 18th, 19th and 20th ICCTs. In particular, the introduction of new terms at the 20th ICCT entailed a change in the wording of the terms relating to employment-related income. Thus, “income from wage employment” was changed to income from wage employment; “income from self-employment” was changed to income from gainful employment.
