For more than 40 years, the resolution has been a fundamental document for the production of statistical information on economically active population, employed, unemployed, economically inactive population, underemployment. Currently, the definitions in the resolution are not valid. Due to changes in conceptual approaches, the Resolution was replaced in 2013 by Resolution I of the 19th ICLS on Statistics of Labor Force Activity, Employment and Underutilization of the Labor Force.
